  Congratulations to the Overlee 13-14 Girls 200M Freestyle Relay on their New Relay Record! 
  Congratulations to Overlee swimmers Violet Mullen, Sia Nicholakos, Alex Bristow, and Mac Busen on their record-setting time of 1:52.66 in the 13-14 Girls 200M Freestyle Relay at the Division 1 Relay Carnival hosted by Donaldson Run. They lowered the previous record of 1:52.98 set in 2019 by Chesterbrook swimmers Patricia Leonard, Ellie Leonard, Cate Sheridan, and Caroline Burgeson.
  
  Relay Carnival Recap
  The 17 Divisions of the NVSL celebrated teamwork and sportsmanship in Wednesday night's Divisional Relay Carnivals. Pools across Northern Virginia were loud and spirited as relay swimmers filled the lanes.

• More Yards Records Fall in Week Three

  In Week Three meets, new yards records were set by Rolling Forest and High Point Pool swimmers at both Kent Gardens and Holmes Run Acres. 
  
  Congratulations to Colton Masterson of Rolling Forest for achieving a new League record in the 13-14 Boys 50Y Breaststroke at Holmes Run Acres! He swam a time of 28.45, which bests the record time of 28.91 set by Joel DeSatnick of Hayfield Farm in 2010.
  
  Congratulations to Josiah Sturgill of High Point Pool for setting TWO new individual League records at Kent Gardens! Josiah set a new NVSL record in the 13-14 Boys 50Y Freestyle by swimming a time of 22.50, which breaks the record time of 22.59 set by Ben Lambert of Hayfield Farm in 2011.
  
  Josiah also achieved a new League record in the 13-14 Boys 50Y Butterfly with a time of 24.15, lowering the record time of 25.00 shared by Jon Ballard of Tuckahoe (1979) and Charles Thompson of Overlee (1983).
  
  Congratulations again to Josiah Sturgill (14), along with his teammates, Brendan Pintauro (12), Archer Williams (10), and Jonathan Katen (17) of High Point Pool for setting a new League record in the Boys 18&Under 200Y Freestyle Mixed Age Relay at Kent Gardens! They swam a time of 1:42.34, which breaks the old record of 1:43.31 set by Logan Hillman, Eliot C White, Macallister Kollet, and Alex Eriksen of Mantua in 2024.
