• For Team Reps: Season End Meeting on Oct 4, Off-Season Notes

  SEASON END TEAM REP AND BOARD MEETING
  The Season End Team Rep and Board Meeting will be held on Sunday, October 4 at 6pm at the Mason District Government Center: 6507 Columbia Pike, Annandale, VA. We inadvertently scheduled the meeting for Yom Kippur and we appreciate your flexibility in moving the meeting to October 4th. Teams should plan to send a representative to the meeting as we review accomplishments of the 2026 season, elect the Executive Board, and set goals for 2027. We look forward to seeing you there!

  Seeding Surveys
  Please submit your seeding survey if you have not already. It's your way to best communicate anything about the 2026 season or changes for the 2027 season to the Seeding Committee. Email nvslseeding@gmail.com with any questions or updates to your surveys.

  NDIVIDUAL ALL STARS FOLLOW UP

  Just one month ago, we enjoyed a beautiful day and even better, some amazing swims at the Individual All Star Meet at Vienna Woods. We sincerely appreciate our hosts, Vienna Woods, and the amazing organizational and volunteer effort led by Jason Somensatto. Many thanks to the volunteers from across the NVSL who each helped the day to run smoothly and successfully.

• Outstanding Sportsmanship by the 2026 Sportsmanship Award Winners

  The Sportsmanship Award is given to the team in each division that best embodies the principles of good sportsmanship as outlined in the NVSL Standards of Conduct. This is a special award because it is determined by votes from the team reps, coaches and 13 and over swimmers.

• Congratulations to the 2026 NVSL Division Winners!

  Congratulations to our 2026 Division Champions! They were awarded their trophies at Divisionals today. A few highlights in this year's Division winners: Division 2 winner Wakefield Chapel is celebrating their first win since 2018; Rolling Valley for D14 has not hoisted the trophy since 2017; Country Club Hills, in a 3-way tie for Division 13 has not celebrated a Division win since 2019; Holmes Run Acres (D12) is celebrating their first win since 2019 and their first 5-0 season since 2004; and Lake Braddock is adding to their trophy case for the first time since 2012 AND celebrating their first 5-0 season since 2003.
